New Novel Announcement!

I’m about to make a big leap, and I’m very excited, but I’m going to back up a bit so I can tell you the whole story and go from there.

Book Crew

Beth A. Freely and I have been doing the Book Crew Podcast for several months now. I’ve been informed and inspired by the wonderful authors that we’ve talked to on that show. (If you want to see and hear the episodes, they are all available on YouTube under the Taskforce: Geek banner, but we’re going to be launching a website very soon.)

I met author Angel Nyx during her interview and soon after she approached me with a shared world series called Dark Chaos. Beth and Angel both worked on me a bit, answered all my questions and gave me every reason to get involved.

It was an offer I couldn’t refuse. So, I’m in!

Shared World Series

Everything I’ve done up to this point, including the two novels I’ve written, comics, etc., have been in my own worlds. I love creating these worlds and I’m very comfortable doing it. I also like the freedom in doing my own damn thing. But this opportunity was just too good to pass up!

Why do a novel in a shared world series?

1. The biggest draw, for me, was the chance to work with a bunch of authors who were established, successful, and comfortable in this genre.
2. The chance to cross promote with these authors is very exciting to me! We’re going to be working together to help each other out.
3. If people like the series they might try out my book, even if they don’t know me.
4. I’m moving into a NEW GENRE, with a NEW NAME, so every little bit helps.
5. Getting to work alongside with Beth and Angel is very cool!

Dark Chaos MC

I was following the thread where Angel had the seed of an idea about an all-woman motorcycle club, but when they decided that it would also be paranormal, then I was sold! I looked around, and there are actually all-female MC paranormal novels out there. I was shocked! I don’t know how big the market is but it’s going to be a lot bigger than my previous market for sure.

Here is the breakdown of the Dark Chaos MC: The Mother Chapter of the Dark Chaos MC was formed in New Orleans in 1970 by a group of female Hellhound Shifters. The first President was Althea Larson, better known to her club as Grim. The first VP was her best friend, Heidi McCoy, better known as Siren. They created the DCMC as a way to thumb their noses at society and what was ‘expected’ of women.

This is definitely a world that is going to be a blast to write in!

Dark Romance

For the first time I’ll be writing in Dark Romance category. While this is new, it’s not far off the erotica category of my first two books. I enjoy writing romance and all the MC and paranormal elements (and the multiple genres) are very much up my alley. This is a good fit for me and right where I need to be right now.

What’s Next

My book is set to be published on January 7th, 2026, so mark your calendars!

I’m in the beginning stages of creating my own part of the world, crafting my characters, and working on the plot. My plan is to have the book written October, so wish me luck!!!
